VMC is seeking an Analyst for our Analytics Team. This is an entry level role which will afford ample opportunity for innovation and expansion for the right candidate. The Analytics team is the subject matter expert for Internet video advertising campaigns and is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data on major Internet video advertising campaigns (movie trailers, brand launches, viral campaigns, and more) for large brands, emerging startups, and entertainment-industry clients. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a burgeoning industry and develop a set of marketable skills.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for data collection pertaining to internet video assets of all kinds, campaign analysis, preparing and developing reports concerning strategy and evaluation of online video campaigns. If you are diligent, eager, and inquisitive, with strong quantitative ability, with the insight to draw conclusions from the data, communicate to clients, and envision new ways of collecting, analyzing, and communicating data, this exciting opportunity is for you. You must also possess strong spreadsheet skills, including building and refining models involving advanced formulas and visualizations. You must have a strong interest in the world of internet video and an awareness of the cultural significance of our industry.

Requirements

- BA/BS degree
- Strong Analytical skills
- Qualified candidates will be familiar with and fans of internet video from both a content and technology perspective.
- Possessing strong spreadsheet skills are a must, including building and refining models involving advanced formulas and visualizations.
- Must be a quantitatively-oriented person, who can envision new ways of collecting, analyzing, and communicating data to clients.
- Attention to detail
- Keen interest in quantitative data
- Ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Proficiency on MAC OS, Apple iWork, particularly in Keynote and Numbers, are a plus
