Perry's Oops Moment Goes Viral

Rick Perry had a big oops moment last night during the republican debate on CNBC. The Texas Governor declared that he had a plan to eliminate three government agencies. But, when pressed, he could only think of two. This morning, Perry went on the offensive, doing interviews to try to put the moment behind him. The problem for Perry, however, is that his "Oops Moment" has already gone viral.

Perry's "Oops Moment" already has over 1 million views, though this number is growing quickly. His most-watched clip has over 700,000 views, with the other 300,000+ coming over 90 clips across the Web. Audiences have written over 7,000 comments about the event so far.

To provide perspective on how big this "Oops Moment" is for Perry's campaign, we compared it to some of his campaign ads.

Perry's biggest campaign, Proven Leadership, has generated over 2 million views and has landed on the Ad Age Viral Video Chart twice. Last week however, it generated less than 20,000 views. His second largest campaign, Rick Perry Is A DoerNot a Talker, has generated about 45,000 views.

Will Perry's "Oops Moment" overtake his biggest campaign on the Web? Let us know what you think in the comments section below!
