FOX News Segment Overshadows Political Ads on WSJ Chart

On this week's WSJ Presidential Ad Chart, we see some familiar political ads, with Obama's Go campaign moving up to the top spot, with 310,000 views. The campaign focuses on how the economy recovered after Obama took over the presidency. Conservative group Crossroad GPS's Obama's Promise, looks at Obama's broken promises with the nation’s housing problems, takes the runner-up spot.

President Obama debuts a new attack ad, Broken Promises, criticizing Mitt Romney’s term as governor of Massachusetts by highlighting the state's employment record during his tenure. Broken Promises debuts at third place, collecting 170,000 views. Romney Economics, another attack ad by the Obama camp, focusing on Bain Capital, fell to fourth place. American Future Fund’s Justice for Sale dips from the top spot to the number five slot. The ad by the conservative group highlights the ties between Obama and Wall Street.

But topping them all is Fox News’ four-minute video segment, criticizing Obama’s term as president by comparing statistics on national debt, unemployment rates, gas, and food prices before his term and now. The segment has collected wide criticisms of looking like an anti-Obama ad. It's garnered more than 350,000 views.
