It’s undeniable: 2012’s summer hit is Canadian artist Carly Rae Jepsen’s 'Call Me Maybe.' The pop song blew up after pop singers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez tweeted about its catchiness. Since then, the song has been unstoppable – it recently hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Jepsen has performed live at the Billboard Music Awards, and has been nominated for several Teen Choice Awards.
The original video by the 26-year-old songstress was uploaded to her VEVO channel in early March. In the four short months after being published, 'Call Me Maybe' has collected over 410 million True Reach views from over 120 videos, including copies, spoofs, and mashups. There are over 800,000 comments for these videos.
Bigger Than Bieber's 'Baby'?
For context, we compared 'Call Me Maybe' to Justin Bieber's 2010 breakthrough hit, 'Baby'. 'Baby' is now one of the most-viewed music videos of all time with well over 1.2 billion views. In its first four months, 'Baby' had collected roughly 380 million views. Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' has been seen more than 410 million times in four months. Not too shabby for a young popstar.
The Spoofs
But of those 410 million views, only 125 million views come from the original music video. This means that the copies and derivatives – namely spoofs – are responsible for close to 300 million views. There are already well over 100 'Call Me Maybe' clips that have surpassed 100,000 views, but we wanted to surface the best of the best.

The spoof by the Cimorelli sisters and Obama's dubbed version follow with 16.4 million and 15.4 million views, respectively. Other top spoofs include the Harvard Baseball Team's version rockin' out in a van, and the Miami Dolphins Cheerleader's steamy version.
