The Expendables 2 Rockets to Top of Film Chart
The star-studded action flick, The Expendables 2 prepares to release this weekend as it climbs up to second place on the Top 10 Online Film Trailer Chart. The cast includes big names like Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, and more. The Expendables 2 generated 2.9 million views this week, which is 800,000 views more than what its predecessor, The Expendables collected at the week of release. The Expendables went on to gross $34.8 million opening weekend at the box office. We'll have to wait to see how the sequel will perform.
ParaNorman also releases this weekend as it falls to seventh place with 900,000 views. The voice cast for the animated, family-friendly film includes Anna Kendrick, Casey Affleck, and Leslie Mann. Promotional content for the film includes featurettes, clips, TV spots, and four trailers. This week marks its fourth week on the chart.
