Chuck Norris' 1000 Years of Darkness Tops Presidential Ads Chart

Chuck Norris released his own anti-Obama PSA last week and dominates the competition on our WSJ Presidential Ads Chart with over 1.3 million views. In 1000 Years of Darkness, Norris and his wife Gena warn us about the country's movement towards socialism, or "something much worse" like plunging our children into a "thousand years of darkness" if Obama is re-elected.

Coming in second place is Barack Obama's Watch the 2012 DNC Live, an ad promoting the Democratic National Convention. The ad features the President talking to actor Kal Penn and Harold & Kumar co-star John Cho eating pizza and cheese puffs. It drove over 1 million views this week, from mostly organic growth.

The RNC's We've Heard It All Before debuts at third place this week, generating 890,000 views. The ad juxtaposes quotes the Obama in 2008 with quotes from his 2012 campaign. Campaign for American Values grabs fourth place with 470,000 views, criticizing Obama's position on gay marriage.

In all, conservative groups dominate the chart this week with six campaigns, followed by Obama with two. Romney and liberal groups tie with one campaign each.
